Recent Trends In Express Entry Draws

Since the middle of May, Express Entry draws have alternated between CEC and PNP draws, with a single category-based selection draw in this time period.

The alternation between PNP and CEC draws has therefore been a consistent theme in Express Entry draws over the last month and a half, and could represent a consistent direction that the department will take in applicant selections under the system for the near future.

Per the latest data on the composition of the Express Entry pool, due to these newly consistent draws, both the 600+ and 501-600 score ranges have seen a drop in the number of applicant profiles on a month-to-month basis, representing the first decline in this collective group of profiles, in at least six months.
