Alberta PNP Issues ITAs In The Latest Draw
Alberta PNP issues ITAs in the latest draw. On July 25, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) sent out more invitations to provincial immigration applicants.
Applicants were selected based on their professional expertise and their capacity to address critical labor shortages within Alberta’s economy.
Draw Results
Alberta PNP issues ITAs in the latest draw. The province’s most recent draw issued invitations under the Alberta Express Entry stream, focusing on priority sectors, i.e., construction.
A total of 39 foreign nationals with valid Express Entry profiles obtained Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.
| Draw Category | Number Of Invitations Issued | Cut-Off Score |
| Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Construction) | 39 | 66 |
This draw was limited to applicants whose primary profession in their Express Entry profile feel under an eligible construction profession.
Those invited based on having an Alberta job offer also needed that job offer to be in a qualifying construction profession.
To determine which construction professions are currently deemed eligible by the province, applicants can visit the official Alberta webpage.
Alberta announced earlier this year that it would extend invitations through its three main Express Entry stream pathways in 2025, while also prioritizing applicants from key sectors.
Sectors presently prioritized under the Alberta Express Entry stream include construction, aviation, agriculture, and healthcare.
How Many Invitations And Nominations Are Still To Be Issued Through This Stream?
Given that the AAIP has issued 269 invitations under the Alberta Express Entry – Priority Sectors stream, the table below presents the state of the pool alongside the remaining allocation:
| 2025 Nomination Allocation | 2025 Nomination Spaces Remaining | EOIs In The Selection Pool |
| 405 | 136 | 4,425 |
The province’s total nomination allocation for the AAIP in 2025 is 4,875, and it has used up 3,134 spots from its allocation as of August 1.
As of this date, it still has 1,741 nomination spaces available for the remainder of this year.
After a foreign national obtains a provincial nomination, they can apply to IRCC for permanent residency.
