Newfoundland and Labrador records the lowest PNP invitations in 2025, i.e., on October 22, Newfoundland and Labrador issued invitations to provincial immigration applicants. Invitations were extended through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

Moreover, the NLPNP does not publish which streams of its Provincial Nominee Program invitations were issued through. 

To date, the province has conducted over 12 selection rounds across both provincial immigration programs. 

The latest selection round saw the fewest invitations issued per draw across both programs so far this year. 

Provincial Immigration Figures

Well, in 2025, thus far, the province issued: 

  • 793 invitations through the AIP
  • 2,253 invitations through the NLPNP

Earlier this year, the federal government granted Newfoundland and Labrador an additional 1,000 nomination allocations for the NLPNP, thus bringing its total number of nomination spaces to 2,050. 

As for the AIP, the province was allotted 475 provincial immigration spaces. 

Altogether, the province has 2,525 nomination slots between its two provincial immigration programs.
