Alberta Issues ITAs To Applicants In The Latest PNP Draws
Alberta issues ITAs to applicants in the latest PNP draws, i.e., on September 12, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) invited over 1000 applicants through the Alberta Opportunity Stream.
In addition, it held two more draws in the following week.
In total, over 1,433 invitations were issued over three draws.
Summary Of Draws (September 12 – 19)
In the week between September 12 and 19, the AAIP held three draws:
| Draw Date | Draw Stream | Minimum Score | Number Of Invitations Issued |
| September 17 | Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway | 56 | <10 |
| September 16 | Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway | 55 | 320 |
| September 12 | Alberta Opportunity Stream | 63 | 1,113 |
The Alberta Opportunity Stream is designed for temporary foreign workers employed full-time in Alberta with a qualifying full-time job offer from an eligible Alberta employer.
Moreover, the Accelerated Tech Pathway under Alberta’s Express Entry Stream is intended for qualified tech professionals who are working in or have a job offer from Alberta in an eligible tech occupation.
Meanwhile, the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway is for applicants with job offers from Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police members. This pathway was launched last year to help local police services meet recruitment objectives.
Applicants for the Express Entry-aligned streams must meet the requirements of the federal Express Entry system.

As Alberta issues ITAs to applicants in the latest PNP draws, let us discuss regarding the invitations and nominations that are yet to be issued.
As of September 26, the AAIP has issued 3,983 nominations out of its annual nomination allocation of 4,875.
That means it has 892 nomination slots to assign to applicants this year.
These are the most up-to-date details on the nomination allocations and nominations issued in AAIP streams, as of September 26:

Note that earlier this month, the federal government granted Alberta an additional 1,528 nomination slots, bringing the province’s total allocation from 4,875 to 6,403.
While the province’s official website currently reflects the previous allocation (as seen in the table above), it is expected that updated figures will be released in the coming weeks to reflect the increase.
