11% of Express Entry applicants score above 500 CRS points, i.e., within just over two weeks, the total number of Express Entry profiles in the pool decreased by 2,547. This is the highest decrease observed in the range of 411 to 430 degrees.
However, the number of high-scoring candidates grew during this time. The 601–1,200 score range more than doubled, rising from 306 to 696 profiles. Similarly, the 501–600 range increased by 417 profiles.
Consequently, the Express Entry pool has continued to grow more competitive.
What Is The Current Distribution Of Scores In The Express Entry Pool?

The transition in the number of applicant profiles within each CRS score band since October 26 has also been included to illustrate how the pool has changed in just over two weeks.

Almost all CRS score brackets, ranging from 0 to 460, saw a decrease in the number of profiles, except for the 401-410 band. The most pronounced decline in profiles (3,228) was observed within the 411-430 score bands.
The score band that saw the greatest increase in profiles (417) is the 501-600 band, while the 601-1200 score range saw almost 400 additional applicant profiles. This indicates an increase in the number of high-scoring provincial nominee applicants within the pool.
Overall, the pool shrank by just over 2,500 applicant profiles within a period of just over two weeks.

To make this quite easier to understand, these percentiles are shown as ranges, indicating that applicants within each CRS score band fall somewhere between the two percentile values presented.
What Draws Took Place Over The Last 30 Days?
Over the last 30 days, IRCC issued a total of 10,861 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across four different draw types.
However, overall, the immigration department conducted six draws, two of which were category-based.
The highest number of ITAs were issued through a French-language proficiency draw on October 29, which aligns with Canada’s prioritization of increasing Francophone immigration outside Quebec.

The immigration department issued 1,092 more ITAs in these 30 days than in the 30-day period preceding it (September 11 to October 11).
