Manitoba PNP issues ITAs to skilled workers and students, i.e., on June 26, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issues more invitations for provincial nomination to foreign nationals with a connection to the province.

These individuals are invited for their ability to contribute to the province’s labor force as well as to effectively settle in the province.

Summary Of Draw Results

The MPNP held two draws on June 26, under its International Education Stream (IES) and skilled worker streams.

International Education Stream

Under the IES, the MPNP issued 478 Letters of Advice to:

  • Meet all eligibility criteria of the IES
  • Declare a Manitoba supporter who is also a close relative

A Manitoba supporter who is a close relative, is a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen, is an established resident of the province, and has resided in the province for a minimum of one year.

In order to qualify as a close relative, a Manitoba supporter should be related to the applicant through one of the following relationships:

  • Sibling
  • Mother or Father
  • Niece or Nephew
  • First Cousin
  • Aunt or Uncle
  • Grandmother or Grandfather

Close relatives might support the applications of more than one skilled worker at a time if they can satisfactorily demonstrate their ability to do so.

In order to be eligible to apply, applicants chosen in this draw should provide documents verifying their close relationship to their Manitoba Supporter as well as their Manitoba Supporter’s length of residence in the province.

If they are unable to show that they meet these criteria, the MPNP advises that they might wish to consider declining their LAA.

Manitoba supporters must also submit a settlement plan with an applicant’s application and provide documentation showing the duration of their residence in Manitoba.

This specific selection does not represent a change in the overall International Education Stream criteria.

Skilled Worker Stream

As Manitoba PNP issues ITAs to skilled workers and students, it is vital to note that the MPNP invited over 14 applicants of the Skilled Worker Stream – under either the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream or the Skilled Worker Overseas stream – who declared in their profiles that they were invited by Manitoba under a strategic recruitment initiative.

In addition, applicants must achieve a minimum score of 712 to receive an invitation in this draw.

The MPNP issued these 14 LAAs to applicants through the following strategic recruitment initiatives:
